Jewish communities in Ukraine are praying for Israel and Ukraine

Jewish communities across Ukraine are uniting their hearts and prayers for peace and victory both in Ukraine and Israel. They recite Kaddish for those who perished in Israel, pray for their families, and all those suffering from the war.

As a gesture of solidarity  with the Israeli people, facing aggression and fighting for their country, Ukrainian cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv have raised the flag of the State of Israel.

the Obolon Jewish community organized a meeting and a joint prayer for peace in Israel and Ukraine.

“We cannot remain indifferent to the horror unfolding in Israel! Let us express our support to our Jewish brothers and sisters who are suffering from the barbaric actions of terrorists!" - was written on the page of the Obolon Jewish Community.

The event was attended by many displaying flags of both Ukraine and Israel.

"In recent days, Israel has experienced a horrific tragedy – as a result of terrorists' attack in the south of Israel, over 1,000 people, including children, women, and unarmed civilians, were killed. Terrorists have violated all norms of morality and law; they have acted with unprecedented cruelty. We will defend ourselves with arms as we have done for the last 75 years," said Brodsky.

The event concluded with participants, along with rabbis, reciting a memorial prayer for the souls of the deceased and those missing.
